The first Texas Gun and Guitar show on March 28-30, 2008 is now just a great memory. Close to 1000 people took the short drive to Hillsboro to check it out and a lot of them must have found just what they needed! We even recognized quite a few of them all three days - several times per day.
Customers went home with some great finds and dealers were pleased with their sales. One of the dealers exclaimed that he had experienced record sales, beating out his former record at an annual metro-area show.
We had originally hoped to build this unique show into an annual event. After talking to both the dealers and the attendees, however, we are now planning another similar show on September 12-14 - this time with more guns and gun dealers! We will be adding some custom cars and military vehicles to the mix, along with plenty of vintage guitars, and bringing in more high-end guitars and related merchandise.
